I have a Vanguard account w/ several mutual funds (call them A,B,C), that I would like to update thru ofx. In KMM I would prefer to organize these funds into separate investment accounts. However, Vanguard downloads contain transactions for all of the funds. If I map my KMM A account to my Vanguard account, it works well, discarding downloaded transactions for B and C. However, if I also try to map my B and C accounts separately to my Vanguard account, KMM lets me do it, but if I then try to update those accounts thru ofx, the transactions are always loaded into the A account.
Is there a way to do what I described and keep my KMM accounts separate, and update each account separately thru ofx? I might mention that I wouldn't mind too much putting A,B, and C into a single KMM account, but it can be difficult to sort things out with all the transactions and share balances mixed into one ledger (I have another account I organized in this way). It would be much better if I could filter on a particular fund in the ledger and see a running total of share balances for that fund, but if I try that, all I get in the balance column is "---". thanks |

I think you're having the same problem as I. See viewtopic.php?f=69&t=94440&hilit=balance

Yes, your post describes what I see when filtering a ledger w/ multiple securities. I guess that particular behavior is pretty much there to stay.
