Hello,
Ubuntu 12.04LTS I try KMyMoney and I imported QIF files from MS Money. I have accounts with no operations that I want to delete. The "Delete account" menu is grayed out. How to delete your account? |

Check if there are any schedules that link to the account.

All transactions have been deleted.
The type of account is "Checks" but whatever the type I can not delete this account. |

It would be advisable to strip down the KMM file in question and anonymize it before you send it to one of the developers or post it to KDE's bugzilla.

The data is very sensitive, I prefer that you give me the procedure to find out what is wrong.
At worst I will try an export and an import. Especially since I noticed errors in the text import operations of my QIF files produced by MS Money. I need to understand what happened before coming to speak here. |

Try "File/Save As/Anonymous Files" and check whether the resulting XML still contains anything sensitive.

So I go into the account id="A000001" at the dates indicated (1999-02-17 and 1999-04-18) and I found the green operations.
I deleted the mapping and I did a little cleaning. I was able to delete the account. Important: You must remove the account is closed on time cleaning. Thank you. ![]() |
