Hi,

I have a telephone operator that sends me a bill every month that consists of a fixed and a variable part, making the amount of the bill variable. I would like to reserve for this bill, so I entered it as a periodical transaction, leaving "This amount is an estimate because it varies for each payment" ticked.

However, when I import transactions (using CSV), these transactions aren't matched automatically, even though the payee is the same and the date is within 2 days. When I try to manually match them by selecting both and clicking "Match" KMyMoney tells me the amounts differ.

How should I approach this?

I hoped this was basic functionality, but even if it isn't, can someone tell me what the "This amount is an estimate because it varies for each payment" checkbox is meant to do? The manual isn't very helpful.
