Hi Guys
I've recently tried to update Macports using the update command with no luck. I decided to install HomeBrew on my Mac (Lion OSX) 10.7.5. I was wondering whether it's possible to install Kmymoney using HomeBrew? I'm currently on 1.0.5 of Kmymoney on Macports. Please note I'm running HomeBrew in Vmware Fusion and Macports on OSX Desktop both are Lion OS. Regards Linuxstuff. ![]() |

Did you try installing kmymoney4 or even better kmymoney4-devel on MacPorts?

HI Mkae
I'm unable to do that because Rsync is not working so I am unable to update macports. This was the reason for trying to install it using Homebrew if possible. i like using Kmymoney and have been using it for many years now. Linuxstuff |

Hi Marko
When I try to update macports I get a update error. I have checked the macports forums a lot of users had similar issues. I tried to fix it based on inputs from users no joy at all. So I thought if I tried kmm on homebrew if available. Are you able to update macports OK? Linuxstuff |

Hi,
I have no problems updating MacPorts (except a weird libiodbc upgrade error due to my private choice of the no_x11 variant)! Can you describe what you see on your end, or give me a link on MacPorts' mailing list [1] so that I can have an idea what is going on on your end? And, please, could we have this discussion better on the MacPorts user list, because it's not really KMyMoney-related. Greets, Marko [1] http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.macports.user |
