OS: Windows 8 64bits
KMyMoney 4.6.3 I have installed both: Oracle 11.2 Administration client PostgreSQL database but in the "Save as Database" menu I can only see the following databases: QSQLITE - SQLite Version 3 QMYSQL - MySQL QODBC - Open Database Connectivity What should I do to be able to save my KMyMoney data in PostgreSQL or Oracle? Thanks, GU |

You will need to install the appropriate Qt 4 database plugin. As you are running Windows 8, you will need to ask the KMyMoney packagers for this, as the Qt plugin must be compiled against the same version of Qt - preventing it from being sourced from elsewhere.

Does that mean I have to build it myself?
I searched in this page, but only found downloads for developers: http://qt-project.org/downloads |

In this case - it depends. If the Qt (for Developers) downloads include a fully compiled version of Qt 4.8 with the PostgreSQL plugin - then you could probably copy that into place and KMyMoney will hopefully be able to use it.
Otherwise, you will need to ask the KDE on Windows folks i'm afraid.

I will use MySQL instead. For some reason it is in the list of available databases of KMyMoney.
Thanks anyway. |
