OnLine update is failing

Thu Sep 26, 2013 6:00 pm
It was working fine until yesterday then it quit with this error.
---------------------------

The page you're trying to reach is currently unavailable.
This may be a temporary error, so please try again.
If the problem persists, contact us.
---------------------------------

The site is available. I can login in manually outside of KMyMoney.
I tried unmapping the account then remapping it but it did no good.
Please tell me how I can help to fix this error.

thanks,
george

Which source of information were you using for your online accounts?

And I forgot this:
openSUSE 12.3
KDE 4.10.5 r1
KMyMoney 4.63

I am sorry but I do not understand your question.
When I setup the account for on line updates, I picked "Vanguard Group, The" from the pull down menu
and it sets it up fine.
It shows the proper account numbers but fails when I try and do the update.

It has been working just fine for months and all of a sudden it stopped.
=======================
Further to this issue, I am changing things for an account to see if it helps
Online Settings\OFX details:
Failed:
Quicken 2008
Quicken 2011
KMyMoney
MsMoney Plus

Nothing seems to work.

Can there be timing issues here ? In other words KMyMoney sends an initial request to Vanguard and the response does not return in time ?
Just clutching at straws as this app is very important to me.

thanks

It seems like this might be a Vanguard problem. They are doing major surgery on their site and it's affecting others.
