Hi all,
New to KMM but enjoying it so far, I'm so happy to hopefully finally get away from Quicken! I see from the changelog:
However, when I enter a Reinvested Dividend, the Enter tab is greyed out until I put a non-zero value in for fee amount. I'm using version 4.6.4 on Windows. Was this requirement re-introduced for some reason? I don't get charged a fee, so forcing me to enter one just creates an error (albeit only a penny). Am I doing something wrong? I'm sure I'll have more questions as I proceed, but so far so good in converting 10+ years of Quicken records. Thanks! |

You do not need to enter a fee to save the transaction!
Since this is an income, you need to assign it. Here is how: Under the line "Fees", there is a line "Interest". All you need to do is specify a category there. I have created an Income category "Reinvested Dividend" that I use for this. |

That did the trick, thank you! I thought I must be doing something wrong.
