Hello,
I chanced upon KMyMoney rather accidently and I would like to know an aspect of the software before I delve into it seriously. Does it support online banking without having to download and compiling a plugin? I have been evaluating GnuCash and extremely frustrated that features built into it just do not work and their support forum hasn't helped much. All I want from the software is to track my investments, bank accounts etc. Would be extremely grateful to anybody who can send me their thoughts on online stocks quote and banking downloads. Would be extremely disappointed if I have to compile something in order to make it work. My environment is Windows Vista. Thanks raovish |

It depends on your distro. If it provides libofx or AqBanking, then KMyMoney will detect it automatically and use it for online banking, no need to compile any plugins.
