Hi,

Is there a way to enter transactions from the command line? I would like to be able to script kmymoney.... If this is not currently supported what is the best way of going about adding this? Can plugins be run from the command line? Should I just edit the *.kmy file directly? Any other options?

Thanks!

At the moment there is no way to do it.

Maybe it could be an addition to the DBus interface and have it autostart. You'll certainly have to deal with opening a file or a DB connection, and it might be an encrypted file.

In my case, I always wanted to add transactions from KRunner, like Skrooge.
