Hello,

I had KMM running successfully on Windows 7 using the 4.6.3 installer from Sourceforge. As I'd like to look under the covers at the code to potentially make some modifications or help move the project forward in some small way, I uninstalled it (using the uninstall option), then installed the KDE package based on http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/KDE_on_Windows/Installation and selected the KMM package. I've tried it both using the enduser option and also the full developer option, and I get the same results, an error message of:

Entry Point Not Found: The procedure entry point ?read@Data@GpgME@@QAEHPAXI@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library gpgme++.dll.

I found via google an entry from 6 months ago where someone suggested checking if there's a different gpgme library path, but no follow-up. Any suggestions, and if the suggestion to check gpgme libraries is still valid, how would I go about checking them?

Thanks!

Hi as the uninstall process is not 100% reliable can you please remove the whole kde installation directory and reinstall it.
If you still encounter the problem please make sure gpg4win is not installed.

Cheers

I stopped the KDE application, then deleted the whole KDE2 folder. Reinstalled everything and the same error pops up. It appears KDE is running correctly (I can open and run assistant.exe and lskat.exe), but no KMM. How would I check if gpg4win is installed or not? Thank you for the assistance.

Which version of KDE did you install? As far as I can see here 4.10.2 is the latest release of the project. I've seen already this issue and it's definitely caused by the presence of a different version gpgme++.dll in the path. You can use this tool to check the dll dependencies of an exe.

Did anybody find a solution to this? I had been using the 4.9 version of the installer, ended up updating, and now I have this same problem. KMyMoney is the only reason for having this installed, and if it won't run I have to go back to dual booting.. I'd really prefer to just have 1 OS installed.. Is there possibly a way to go back to the 4.9 version instead of the 4.10 version?

Did you try the stand-alone installer?
