When I check that ISIN in Morningstar, it uses a different id in the URL

http://www.morningstar.it/it/funds/snap ... F0GBR04UG9

Try F0GBR04UG9 for the ticker symbol.

I didn't do the test with KMyMoney, because I've seen from my portfolio in Morninstar.it that the same title has a different ID than the one indicated by you ..
http://www.morningstar.it/it/funds/snapshot/snapshot.aspx?id=F0GBR04TB7
then that is only a temporary display.

And that's why it's not possible to use that site from finance::quote :(

Ok! but I don't understand why ...?
Similarly where KmyMoney takes information from an external site such as YAHOO, cannot take the same information from MORNINGSTAR?

You cannot establish a partnership with this site?
Are ultimately free information that can be obtained without registration.
In addition, with only one site, you get all the information of any investment in the world whether it be stocks, bonds or funds.

Because it would have to open a browser, enter the information manually, click on the button, and then get the information from the next page, hoping no popup would come up in the way. That's not practical at all, and very prone to errors.

We rely on being able to just download a specific url, like yahoo.com?id=xxxx and getting the information from there. Some sites don't want you to do that, so they change that xxxx randomly, and force you to do it manually.

There should be a government or entity site to get all that information reliably, but so far there isn't any.
