finance::quote is a script that you can use to retrieve investment information.

If you can find your investment with it, then you can use that info in KMyMoney.

You're not using Windows, are you?

It's similar to how you use Yahoo.

Install finance::quote (it should be available in your distro, or a RPM should be around)

Set the trading symbol to the ISIN, and in the online price update, click on the checkbox to use finance::quote.

Excuse me .. I downloaded the script FINANCE.QUOTE and I installed it without any problems.
But now I don't see anything new in KMyMoney, and I'm at the point of departure.

Let's take a practical example:
with this ISIN (LU0132602227), which is the code that I have to put in KMyMoney?

You should enter LU0132602227 as the trading symbol, and in the online update, check the box of finance::quote.

Ah.! :D
Simpler solution than expected ..

There isn't drop down menu ..
The folder FINANCE: QUOTE is on the desk ..
I need to move or re-installation at a precise location within KMyMoney?

you should install it with the package manager of your distro.
It is available in OpenSuse with zypper.

Ehm..! :D
I'm a nerby and new to Linux... so I'm using with satisfaction a Mageia4 ( a derivate of Mandriva)

I downloaded the file tar.bz on the desk . I unpacked it with ARK and performed this procedure as root ...
perl Makefile.PL
make
make install

I haven't received any error

But now I do not know how to use this script to Kmoney

Edit the investment, in the final page is the online update data.
The first item should be a checkbox to select whether to use finance::quote. Check it.

Look this... http://it.tinypic.com/r/288poib/8
This configuration page isn't the same menu that you say?
I don't see anything that refers to FINANCE.QUOTE

I hate to spoil the fun, but it probably won't work. I have the same problem. Each time the web site format changes, Finance::Quote have to fix their perl scripts, and as far as I can tell, they have not done it in quite some time for the French Sicavs. Also, many financial sites now map the share name or ISIN to their own internal code, and the scripts don't work. In any case, if you're successful, I'd be interested.
