Can anyone comment on if any new investment transaction types are on the horizion?

I'm particular interested in a "Return of Capital" Transaction (both positive and negative), lot matching on sales, and stock for stock acquisitions - these both for company takeovers as well as for stock conversions between different share types.

I'm investigation changing the software I'm using, and although the original software used did provide these the company's attitude was a discouragement and the current software does not really provide all of these effectively.

Alas I'm one of those Windows users Have used Linux but don't now as I lost interest in spending globs of time on a computer

The subject hasn't come up. You can "fake" this kind of transactions, but there's no template ready for it.

Since the feature plans for the next version are almost done, I'd say nothing like this won't be in there for another year at least. And probably longer, as this is the first I've seen the subject come up.

Thank you for the prompt response. I'm surprised that no one has talked about Return of Capital and Lot Matching at least as both of these are relatively common transactions for those directly owning shares.
