Hi,
I am UK based, one of the companies I invested in was recently bought by a French company and the shares are now listed on the French stock exchange. I updated the Trading Symbol (FR0000121972) and Source (I am using the KMM default: http://www.wallstreet-online.de) but the online update fails: Unable to update price for FR0000121972 (no price or no date) If I paste the URL into my web browser it all looks good: http://www.wallstreet-online.de/si/?k=F ... &spid=ws... Any ideas? Thanks Nick

When you say "If I paste the URL into my web browser it all looks good:", I take it you mean the Url is valid. If so, then the most likely issue is that the page format does not match the kmm settings. If you speak regex, then you may be able to deduce the correct settings. Unfortunately, I'm pretty weak in that area.

Thanks - exactly that, the URL is valid.
I'll have a go but like you my regex is not strong and I when I've tried this in the past I usually make it worse!

Yes, I think it's about time the EU got a grip on all these web pages and standardised them all!! Like they did with bananas.

Can you give an example of a file that needs to be changed?

Ok,
I have resolved this issue by changing the online source to Yahoo and using the Yahoo 'symbol lookup' feature to identify the correct symbol used on Yahoo. The Trading Symbol on Wallstreet Online is FR0000121972 whereas on Yahoo it is SU.PA. Thanks to all the contributors for your help. Nick
