Hi, I just installed Kmymoney and added my first shares but when I try to get an online price update it fails and the following comes up in the status:
"Fetching URL http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.cs ... &f=sl1d3... Symbol found: "DMGT.L" Price found: 840.6854 (840.685) Unable to update price for DMGT.L (no price or no date)" I assume the problem is something to do with the 'no date' part but can anyone tell me how I fix it ? |

Have you tried using a different source, I'm also based in the UK but I find that the Yahoo source works better for me than Yahoo UK?
You can lookup the correct symbol using the search feature at the top of this page: http://finance.yahoo.com/ Though DMGT.L looks OK and should work fine. Nick

Yes, I have tried Yahoo and the FT option but nothing working.
I have now added several other shares and the same thing is happening with all of them. I wondered if it might be something to do with the 'factor' as the downloaded one shows the price in pence but have tried a couple of settings I found and I still get the same error message. |

No, the problem is that they have changed the format.
8:47am is not a date. I think the date detection can be disabled by removing the date regular expression and then the price will be considered for the current day.

Thanks but could you tell me how I remove the date regular expression?
The 'online quotes' section in settings looks promising but that's as far as I can get, I found something in the manual about it but it doesn't mean much to me. I tried altering the date format to UK standard but it didn't make any difference. |

Got it sorted, just deleted everything from the 'date' field in the 'online quotes' section in settings.
