Hi,
If I select multiple transactions in an account, then select a category for these transactions, their amount are "zeroed". What am I doing wrong? Thanks Francis |

It's a bug and it's already reported.

I've found that I can't enter a zero amount in a scheduled transaction in 4.7.
I pay my utilities using equal billing and, if I really behave myself, I may get a month or two where no money is taken out of that account. I track those months by entering $0.00 on the normal billing date. This works fine in 4.6.4 but not in 4.7. I've reverted to 4.6 for the time being. |

A workaround this issue (until the new version is out) is to clear the amount '0.00' from the amount editor after changing the category and before entering the transactions.

Could you elaborate why should somebody prefer entering a 0 value transaction instead of using 'Skip schedule'? Do you use that transaction as some kind of marker?

Thank you for the workaround. I'll put 4.7 back on and give that a try.
Yes, I use $0.00 as a record of when that transaction occured and that I've actually processed it. I tend to panic if it appears I've forgotten something. ![]() |

Skip schedule will not add a 0.00 transaction but, after discussing this with the others, we'll re-add the possibility to add transactions with the amount 0.
