Open encrypted file on a different computer

kde-deshmukh Registered Member Posts 184 Karma 0	Open encrypted file on a different computer Tue Dec 23, 2014 2:14 pm On a computer running Fedora 20 KDE Spin, I had created a kmymoney file and encrypted it. Every time I opened that file on the older computer, I was asked the encryption password. I am trying to open the same file on a different computer running Fedora 21 KDE Spin, but it just refuses to open the file giving an error that decrpytion failed. How can I open the file on the Fedora 21 KDE Spin computer? -- Manjaro KDE. Kernel 4.19.244-1-MANJARO. 64-bit. Plasma 5.24.5. KDE Frameworks 5.94.0. Qt 5.15.4. 8GB RAM and more than 100GB free on the hard disk.

Are the keys stored separately? Yes they are store separately. How do I copy them? Can I keep them on a USB drive, like I keep kmymoney file?
