Hi, I'm very new to KMyMoney. Is there a "go to today" button, or shortcut? I do a yearly budget, and after I enter a new transaction, it then displays the end of the year, and I have to rescroll all the way back up to display this week/today. Is there a quick way to then go to "today"? Not sure if I'm being clear. Or, even to get it to stay at today/recent and not bring up the end of the register after entering new transactions?

I've had this problem too, but in different circumstances, e.g. duplicate a transaction. Maybe this will help: if the program takes you to a different line in the ledger, your cursor is still where it was. Use the up (down) arrow, and you will be on the line before (after) the one you were on.

Ahhh yes! Thanks so much, that works...at least gets you back to the current time frame. I was having to scroll back from Dec., 31st, back to March every time I made a new entry. I had never noticed the cursor stayed current day. Thanks, it does help a lot. Still would be nice to be able to hit a "go to today" button....if you happen to be elsewhere....but I'm not complaining

I think we could add a shortcut to the ledger that would scroll to the transaction which is nearest to today. Just like the date entry widget will select today if T is pressed.
