I set up a new account in KMoney and imported several month's worth of transactions. I'm now faced with going through them all and assigning categories to each. Is there any way to assign the same category to all transactions with the same payee? EX: Every month there's a payment to my electric company, so can I assign the Utility/Electric category to all of them at once, or do I have to go through and individually assign each month's payment it's category?
Thanks.

Did you try selecting all such transactions in the ledger then use the context menu to assign categories to all transactions?

Christian's suggestion will work for existing transactions, but if you want to have automatic assignments also for future transactions, you can go to "Payees", look up your utility company, and open the "Default Account" tab. Click "Suggest a category", or assign it manually. You will be prompted to save this when leaving the Payees menu. I think KMM sometimes automatically assigns a category, but I don't know how the learning mechanism works.
