Asset account won't delete

Asset account won't delete

I have created an asset account under an institution but I can't delete it - the option is greyed out when I pull up the dropdown menu. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

OK so solved it. When the asset account had a starting balance it would not delete. Make this '0' and it will.
