I am playing around with creating a custom report for VAT (UK sales tax) - if anyone has done this to their satisfaction please can you post your template. I have configured my categories in such a way that I have separate VAT accounts and, say, income amounts. However, I would like to report these as category totals without their subtotals showing but this does not seem possible. In other words, sub-categories are required to display all of the total amounts. It doesn't seem possible to create a report which only shows the headline amounts for a VAT notice 700/12. It's not a deal breaker but would be nice to show both - the detail and just the summary.
