Hello,
I've searched the forum and if I understand correctly, the transaction date can't be earlier than the opening date of the account. So I have a checking acct with an opening date of 2015-01-01. Todays date is 2015-10-20. I cannot enter a transaction date earlier than todays date. What am I doing wrong? date turns red.... I've re-entered the account opening date, saved and restarted the application. Nothing gets me past the red date....help

Alrighty I figured it out...thanks
it wasn't the checking account, it was the expense account. Just trying to figure out how to set the entire category group to have the same open date as the checking acct.
