Hello guys, first of all, please let me appreciate the wonderful work you did with Kmymoney... I love it.
I'm creating this topic in regards of the following situation. I've being using Kmymoney during the last 3 years, the currency base was Singapore Dollars, I daily utilize 3 different currencies in several accounts (Singapore Dollars, Argentinian Peso and US Dollar). a few days ago, I move from Singapore to Spain, and now I would like to have as currency base, Euros. at the moment, each time that I configure the new currency base, for some reason, the system create a wrong conversion, for example: if I have 200K Singapore dollars, after the change in the configuration it shows me 1,3 million Euros. I've check as much as I could but, now I'm running out of ideas. unfortunately, I'm not able to continue using the app until I solve this issue. I appreciate any help or new ideas to fix this. Thanks in advance Mauro |

200k Singapore Dollars should be about 130k Euros.
So, I think you moved the decimal point somewhere in the price editor.

Thanks for the reply, actually it´s not the case!
I have fixed it by correcting the categories, I realize reading other posts that the categories has their own currency when you create it. of course, I didn´t knew about this when I start using the software 3 years ago. the solution basically was to create new categories with the proper currency association and then move the information from one side to another, very simple and fast. Thanks! Mauro. |
