Loan extra repayment

Fri Jan 22, 2016 9:39 pm
I have a loan account.

According to the documentation, one can make an extra principal repayment and that the reducing of the principal debt will be taking into account for the next periodic payment.

I have made an exceptional extra repayment and my bank allows me to choose one of:
1) Preserve the total amount payed each month (amortization+interest) but pay a lower number of months.
2) Preserve the total number of months of the loan but pay less each month.

How can I reflect this in kmy? As far as I can tell, the scheduled transactions do not change and I am not able to neither the duration of the loan nor the amount of the principal.

Any ideas?

You have to recreate the loan account, unfortunately.

Has this been fix, or is it on the roadmap?
