Hi,
I'm new to kmymoney. Have been using MSMoney for years with no problems. I'm using the latest version 4.7.2 but when I make a payment or transfer to a credit card account the balance just keeps going up? On the home page all the values are in black. I saw somewhere that debt should be in red? Also it shows the debt added to my net worth.
Anyone else have this problem. I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Thanks.

I don't know about MS Money, but it is standard in KMM and other if you transfer money to an account the balance is going up.
If you pay with your credit card, you transfer money from the account and the balance is going down.
If the balance is negative (standard for credit card accounts) it will be shown in red color.

PS. Check if the "withdrawal" tab is highlighted when you enter a transaction (payment) in the credit card account ledger.
That is a common mistake. It is not automatically highlighted for a credit card account.

Update. You have to enter a negative balance when setting up the account.
After that it was normal with the balance going down when I made a payment.
