Hi folks,
yesterday I had to edit two transactions in my credit card account to assign them to a newly created asset account for my notebooks. But unexpected the 'transfer' tab was grayed out, so I couldn't change the transaction. I tried to duplicate the transaction and edit the new one, same result. I checked opening dates of the accounts and categories and I checked the payee information - no issues found. Unfortunately I had to enter a new transaction with all the details and delete the old one to solve the problem. Is this a bug or did I miss something? KMM 4.7.2 on Windows 10

Yes, I really missed something
![]() ![]() Since 'categories' in KMM are accounts for income or expense transactions the 'transfer' tab is grayed out in the transaction input form as long as a category is selected. When I remove the category all three tabs are activated again. But there is no need to select a tab. I only have to select a category or account and the 'to / from' direction field. KMM then automatically select the right tab and grays out the inoperative ones. Sticky note: [idea=]When editing transactions to change category/account first remove the old category/account.[/idea]
