I can't get KMyMoney working on Windows 10. Starting KMM after installation I got an error message reporting the program cannot run as "msvcr100.dll" is missing.
I downloaded this file from http://www.dll-files.com and put a copy alongside KMyMoney.exe, AND in c:\windows\system32 AND in c:\windows\sysWOW64, as advised, and re-booted, but I now get the following error message: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application." (NB: I'm using a 64-bit guest VM of Win10 in VirtualBox on a 64-bit Windows 7 host. MS made this VM available from https://dev.windows.com/en-us/microsoft ... s/windows/ to allow web developers like me to test their web sites in Edge on Win10, under a 99-day licence.) Has anybody else had success running KMM on Win 10? If so, any ideas for me? If not, are there plans to support Win10? I can't find mention of this either on the KMM web pages or in this forum. |

Further information: I found an instruction to register the dll using "regsvr32 msvcr100.dll", but got the following error message: "The module 'msvcr100.dll' was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "msvcr100.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again."
I'm stuck as this doesn't help. Any assistance gratefully received. Regards John |

Random guess: did you try (re)installing the visual c++ 2010 / 2015 / whatever redistributable?
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

No - I just ran the Windows install file. But for good measure, I uninstalled and reinstalled KMM - and it now works! Hurray! Thanks for the suggestion - I should have thought of trying that earlier! Regards John |

I had the same problem with msvcr110.dll library! I have reinstalled a Visual on W7 (64) and it didn't help. This file http://fix4dll.com/msvcr100_dll is a solution.

Spambots have reached a point where I seriously, honestly can't decide whether these posts come from a spam bot or not.
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
