Column width too wide

Sat Mar 26, 2016 4:20 pm
Hi,

I have been using S/W for many years without a problem.
I was inputting some data (£'s to euros) when suddenly I have a very wide "Cheque no" column and have lost "details" which make the account un readable! It may be something That I did but the other ledgers are all OK.
The data is still there and I have made a backup!
Have tried stopping kMyMoney and opening the file again but I still cannot see the details and cannot find where to adjust column widths. Could you advise on what I have done and how to see my account "details" again?
Thanks

check the last transaction for that account, maybe there's some weird data input in the cheque no field?

Hei Fu,
Thanks for the clue! I must have accidentally leant on a key or put something on the keyboard :< .

I scrolled up and found a series of "-" in the "cheque No" column and deleted them, and now all the columns can now be read.
Thanks for your time - apologies for delay in replying.
