I need to be able to print a complete ledger for any given span of time, even a full year, but can't find any way to do that. The print options are all blocked. Is this not possible?

Not from the ledger. Have you tried a transaction report?

Yes, I've used the transaction report - closest thing to what I want. I use MyMoney as the treasurer of an organization and it would be useful to have the complete ledger showing transactions, check numbers, etc. Maybe it would be a nice thing to add to the program.

The best should be for KMM to do a Trial Balance.

You can configure a report for your own needs.
Use a copy of the transaction report as a bias and enable the additional columns you need for reporting.
