All Britisch people wonder that the tax year runs from the 6th of April to the 5th of April the following year. The knowedge why this is so has probably evaporated some 900 centuries back. Perhaps it was a present from the Normans. Obviously no Government has ever tried to bring the Tax year like in most sensible and normal counties in the world to go from January 1 to Decemter 31. That would certainly be too easy for the Brits; some still dream from reusing Pound Shilling an Pence.
Now for us small one- or two man companies, it is probably the easiest was to run the acount parallel to the Tax year. Long story short, how do I this set up, I have combed the help but found no info to do exactly this. What I am looking at is different to the reports i can define exact to a date. I want so see the change of the tax year in the Window I am entering the data. Can somebody direct me to do this, please?

Please check the manual again and look out for the third global option listed which is called fiscal year. Is that what you are looking for?
