I just upgraded from version KMyMoney 4.7.2 to 4.8 (Windows). Since doing so an error is received each time I close the working file.

I believe I've located the stated account but cannot figure out how to set the price of the US Dollar. My default settings are CND currency. The account is US dollar based. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be appreciated.

KMyMoney notices, that you have opened an account/category in a different currency and no price for the opening date of the account. I wonder, if that 1900-1-1 comes from a recent modification that changed the opening date for categories to that date. In that case, you need to add a pro forma price for this date. Select Tools/Prices, use USD as security, CND as currency, select 1900-1-1 as date and enter a valid price information (could be 1:1 to make KMyMoney happy).

If you have prices for USD - CND with dates past 1900-1-1 already on file you should retrieve correct results in the reports no matter what price you enter in the above process.
