problems building frameworks branch

Mon Aug 15, 2016 10:53 pm
[I'm posting here instead of the devel mailing list, since my emails to the list started bouncing yesterday due to SPF issues...]

I'm working on compiling version 5 in several different places, and I'm having the most trouble on my Kubuntu in a VirtualBox. I've actually upgraded to yakkety 16.10, but many of the requirements are found, but at too low a level. For example KMM wants KF5Gpgmepp 5.2, and I only have 4.8. The listed version installed is 15.12, and I know 16.03 and higher have been released. Is there a PPA that has the newer releases of the required frameworks and libraries?

Thanks.

Well, I finally got the right google-fu and found the staging PPA for yakkety. That got me the latest versions of all the necessary packages except for alkimia. As far as I can tell, Claydoh generally has the latest, but I only see 5.0 there, and KMM is requesting 6.0. Is there a source for the package, or do I need to compile from source.
