Hello,
I'm using KMM since many years to keep track of many bank accounts. Since a few years the payee information does not show in the account after importing the transactions via aqhbci (from a Sparda-Bank). Now I found out that the original payee information gets in fact downloaded via aqbanking and it can be found in the log files. :86 .... some memo-information ... ?32PAYEE_INFORMATION (max. 27 - always at the end of this line) I have read about the possibility to extract the information from the memo field, but this doesn't work for me. I have tried out several regular expressions, but whichever I try, only a fraction of the information in the aqhbci-log shows up in the KMM memo field. It seems to me that the regex stuff doesn't have any effect on what appears in the KMM memo field. And whatever I've tried, the payee field remained always blank. What would be the regex to get the whole information into the KMM memo? (.*) ? What can be wrong with my configs? Is there maybe a maximum message size that needs to be adapted? I'm using KMM 4.8.0 (under xubuntu 16.04) Best regarrds Jweis |

I am using a Sparda account myself, and believe me, if that does not work the (KMyMoney) source will be changed immediately
![]() Don't go the route of extracting the payee information from the memo field. That is not necessary anymore. It used to be, but that is not the case anymore. Sparda has changed their backend (going back in my logs, I see a first reference of the ?32 field separator in February 2014). KMyMoney wise I run on HEAD of the 4.8 branch with local changes but that is identical to the 4.8.0 version if it comes to online banking with HBCI. Which version of AqBanking and Gwenhywfar do you use? I have
ipwizard, proud to be a member of the KMyMoney forum since its beginning.

Thanks for your swift reaction.
My gwenhywfar was indeed a bit outdated and I updated it. But this didn't help. After some more trial and more error I started KMM from the terminal - at first there were no suspicious error messages. But when I tried to update an account the terminal showed me several messages, saying that the payee matching failed because each original payee information could be matched to two payees from my list (one of which was just a blank ' ' ) . I eliminated those payees from my list or switched the matching off for them. That did the trick. In fact I remember that I once read a post about that problem. At the time I had looked at my long list of payees and didn't know how to check all my matching rules. The terminal would have told me ... Again, thanks a lot - I was impressed how fast there was a reaction from the community, and I'm sure that - after ruling out missing dependencies - your questions would have led me to the solutions.
