Hi everbody,

I just started using KMyMoney (4.8.0 for Windows), because I read that it should be similar to Microsoft Money. However I do not have any experience so far with plugins and their installation procedures.

Since I like to use the online banking functions, too, I already downloaded the latest version of AqBanking (5.6.12) but do not have the faintest idea how to integrate AqBanking in KMM. So far I could not find any plugin installer or thread where my problem is discussed.

Thanking you in advance I do hope that somebody knows a solution to the problem.

I just started using KMyMoney on Windows but I was unable to set up online banking with my bank (comdirect). Any news on this topic ?

KMyMoney 4.8.0 for Windows does not have the necessary AqBanking module. Version 4.8.1 for Windows will contain it. The bug tracker entry 380075 contains the following in comment #9:

After tagging the 4.8.1 release final packages has been build and the related obs packages has been merged into the official obs mingw32|64 project at
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show ... ingw:win32 and https://build.opensuse.org/project/show ... ingw:win64
with the help of Fridrich Strba from SUSE.

Maybe that helps you to get started.

Great news
During my desktop times with Linux, I started to use KMyMoney. I had to switch to a Windows environment years ago and used both a Windows KMyMoney and a KMyMoney in a Linux VM to update the accounts (both alternatively using the same kmy-File)
I just happen to install 4.8.2 on Windows 10 today (coming from 4.8.0) and HBCI/FinTS via aqbanking is running out of the box (only the German translation is missing)
