Hi together,
I tried to install KMM 4.8.0 from the latest tarball-archive on my Ubuntu 16.04. LTS. I followed the instruction of README.cmake, but I got a few errors. The first one is directly in the beginning. By using
I get the error:
Can you please tell me what source I should add into sources.list? Furthermore I continued with the compiling process with cmake first. After solving the problem that my system lacked several programs, now I reached another problem.
I get the error
Can anybody help me finish the installation. Or is there another installation process available for the newest version 4.8.0 (like a deb-package or per apt-get)? Thanks a lot. |

Try my ppa
Otherwise, compiling is not difficult, but determining the correct -dev packages can be frustrating at first. This should help get you started: debhelper cmake pkg-kde-tools, kdelibs5-dev kdepimlibs5-dev shared-mime-info libaqbanking-dev libgwenhywfar-core-dev libgwengui-qt4-dev libboost-graph-dev libgpgme11-dev libalkimia-dev libical-dev libofx-dev libgmp-dev pkg-config

Hey, that's it.
I tried to install it in a Virtual Machine and everything works fine. I hope it will be work on my final system, too! ![]() But I have one more question: I miss a few icons in the left bar like "Categories", "Ledgers", "Investments" and "Forecast". They have all the same icon (like a letter). And the other icons look quite simple (much more than my last known version). How can I solve this small flaw? BR |

You will have to open the kde4 system settings icon module (in a terminal or in krunner) and set the icon theme to Oxygen:
