I have a newer desktop (AMD FX quad core, 16gb memory) running Mint 18 and KMyMoney 4.8.0 and an older laptop (AMD dual core, 4gb memory) running Win10 and KMyMoney 4.8.0. The .kmy file we use is shared over the home network. The desktop has a noticeable pause, 2-4 seconds, when opening the file, while the laptop, opening the same file over the network, does not. The startup page options settings on both machines is set to “Start with last selected view”, which is the ledger. This did not happen on earlier versions (4.6 ?).
Ideas?
