file import

I just install KMyMoney 4.6.6 and under file import QIF is not active. How can this be corrected? This is my only option for bring Quicken accounts to KMyMoney unless there is a converter for QXF to OFX format.

KMyMoney 4.6.6 is a bit outdated. You should use 4.8.0 if possible. QFX is essentially OFX with some Quicken extensions and KMyMoney might also be able to read that.

hi rocky330.. I have been using KMyMoney as my home finance application for a few years. I have some issues with importing into the 4.8.0 version of the program. It would not allow me to import into any account if it is not of file type 'Current'. I have used 4.6.6 and 4.7.2 and both work OK, they can see all accounts allowing me to select into with to put the file in both those earlier versions all account types can be seen in favourites and assets.

Do remember when setting up your accounts, using 'New Accounts' you tick the 'Preferred account' box
