Good to see KMyMoney 5.0.0 Released. How do I download an install for windows?

BTW - No answer to request for accessing Dev versions for Win64.

It probably needs to be entirely rebuilt for Windows, since this release removed any dependencies on KDE 4 libraries. The previous mention of building from source for Win / Mac was almost 2 years ago, so there's likely some work that needs to be done if it's going to get released to those platforms. There are Windows releases for the previous version still, but I'm guessing you knew that already.

I know of a developer who is working on producing a windows release using Craft. The last thing I heard was, that there are still some problems to get a working application (it is apparently running, but some UI issues have been identified). So it might take some more time until we see a windows release appearing.

Congratulations to the Devs for this new milestone. I've just upgraded 4.8.1 to 5.0 in my Manjaro KDE VM [Testing branch], then compared it side by side to my real Manjaro KDE OS [Stable branch] which for a few more days is still on 4.8.1. So far i've noticed more cosmetic than structural changes [though i do realise that under the surface lots has changed & much hard work has occurred]. I definitely like & appreciate the aesthetic improvements... using Qt5 has made a nice visual improvement.

Based on my old thread viewtopic.php?f=69&t=122065&p=364201#p364201 i know that in KMM 4 the user's config file was

, whereas in KMM 5 it now seems to be

... am i understanding this correctly? In my current KMM 4 installation in my real OS, there is no directory

Finally, another old thread of mine viewtopic.php?f=69&t=136281 asked

1. A while back [4.7.1] i queried how to turn off the Outbox tab viewtopic.php?f=69&t=123505&p=326478&hilit=outbox#p326467 . The method that worked back then was to deselect the KBanking plugin & restart KMM. In 4.8.0 this Outbox tab has reappeared, but this time i cannot turn it off by deselecting the KBanking plugin & restarting. Is this a bug, or is there a different way now to get rid of it pls?

In KMM 5 i still cannot stop the Outbox tab appearing. Is there a way to do it, pls?

KMyMoney 5 should be able to pick up the old settings file and move it to the new location upon the first start after upgrade. You can check that by loading your VM with the old file in the old location (create the subdir-tree since it might not exist) and run KMyMoney 5 and check that the move happens.

Regarding the outbox: this seems to be a bug introduced by some recent changes in the view logic. Since I have the KBanking plugin turned on all the time (I desperately need it) I did not notice, but when I just tried to disable KBanking to get rid of it, it did not disappear. Can you file a bug report, please?

Remove online job view if not needed

Summary:
In case no online job plugin is available, the online job view is not
needed. This change removes the view from the application in case no
online plugin is active at startup of the application.
FIXED-IN: 5.0.1

Test Plan: Disable KBanking and OFX plugin and check that page is not shown.
Enable at least one of them to have the page back after the next application
start.
