KMyMoney 5.0 backup

Using KDE Neon 5.12 I have always backed up KMM to a usb memory stick without problem.

However since the upgrade to 5.0.0 KMM now attempts to mount the backup media and advises that it failed, the media having been done by Dolphin as normal.
KMM then fails to unmount the media which makes sense as it never mounted it.

Has anyone a suggestion or solution?
