I am trying to import some investment transactions from a .csv file. It looks like the mapping went OK but after clicking te "Import CSV" button I get a popoup with message:
"The values in the columns you have selected
do not match any expected investment type.
Please check the fields in the current transaction,
and also your selections."

If I were manually entering these transactions i would expect the income to be added to the "brokerage" account and a ledger entry in the corresponding investment account. I am testing with a very small subset of potential transactions, namely:
Code: Select all
wgking@SYLVIAKDE ~ $ cat /tmp/TransactionHistory_22434541.csv
Transaction Type=All,Product Type=All,Symbol=,From=2018-01-01,To=2018-02-16
Transaction Date,Settlement Date,Activity Description,Description,Symbol,Quantity,Price,Currency,Total Amount,Currency
----------------,---------------,--------------------,-----------,------,--------,-----,--------,------------,--------
2018-01-31,2018-01-31,Interest,ISHARES 1-5 YR LADDERED BD IND,TSE:CBO,649,,,27.26,CAD
2018-01-31,2018-01-31,Interest,ISHARES CDN SELECT DIVIDEND IN,TSE:XDV,2250.,,,189.00,CAD
2018-01-04,2018-01-04,Interest,ISHARES 1-5 YR LADDERED BD IND,TSE:CBO,649,,,26.99,CAD
2018-01-04,2018-01-04,Interest,ISHARES CDN SELECT DIVIDEND IN,TSE:XDV,2250.,,,189.00,CAD

The message would imply the 3rd field "Interest" is not valid, but i have added that type to the csvimporterrc config file.

Code: Select all
wgking@SYLVIAKDE ~ $ grep Param /home/wgking/.config/kmymoney/csvimporterrc
BuyParam=buy
DivXParam=dividend
IntIncParam=interest,income,Interest
ReinvdivParam=reinvest,reinv,re-inv
SellParam=sell,repurchase
ShrsinParam=add,stock dividend,divd reinv,transfer in,re-registration in,journal entry
ShrsoutParam=remove

Environment is Linux Mint 18.3 KDE (based on on Ubuntu 16.04). This was also not working on v4.8 and reported in bugtracker Bug 388935. The error message was similar I think.

Any advice to get this working would be greatly appreciated.
