Installing 5.0.1

Mon Mar 19, 2018 9:38 pm
I'm fairly new to Linux (Jan 2018) and KMM (May 2017) and I'm trying to install 5.0.1 but am getting errors when using Cmake. Does anyone know how to resolve the issue I'm having or have a better way for me to install 5.0.1? I've tried following the instructions in README.cmake but it isn't working for me. Here's the error I'm getting

Very proud of myself. ^-^ I didn't get any feedback but after many tries and installing some updates on Linux I've installed KMM V 5.0.1. It was a good exercise as I learned a little more about Linux.

Please tell me how you did it, so I can get past the ECM problem.

I did get it install and then later discovered a few issues, so I uninstalled it. To be honest I don't remember how I fixed the ECM issue, sorry. What I did to get KMM 5.0.2 up and running was I installed KMM via AUR which is available with Manjaro Linux. Actually, this was simple to do and it installed without any issues. I love KMM 5.0.2. it works well. I hope it helps you and you can install it this way.
