Is it possible to implement a type of investment operation called recharacterization? It amounts to transferring a number of shares from one investment account to another. It is used for US retirement accounts, but also simply when you change banks and transfer your investments without selling them. I can add/delete shares, but the investment performance report will not be correct. I can specify the value of the investments at the time of the transfer.
