Hi,

I am fairly new to KMyMoney and am still trying to get my head around a few things.

A point I seem to be missing: I have two different investment accounts (two different banks) and this seems to be causing issues in KMyMoney.

I create shares A and B in investment account Account1, each time defining their trading symbol and identification.
Then, I create, say, shares B and C in investment account Account2, each time defining their trading symbol and identification. At that point, shares A and B in investment account Account1 see their trading symbol and identification overwritten by those of shares B and C in no particular order.

I am using version 4.8. on ubuntu 16.04.

Any advice would be more than welcome.

I have not had that issue. My shares seem to to be identified correctly.
Are you doing online updates ?
Whereas I cannot get the account online updates to work properly but I am taking that issue to my linux provider.
Running KMM 5.0 but I ran 4.7 for a long time.
