When I update my stock quotes I receive the following error message:

Fetching URL http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s ... &f=sl1d1...
Unknown host download.finance.yahoo.com: Host not found
Unable to update price for USD > E000026 (empty quote data)

When I go into 'Stocks and Currency Price' I see
Symbol USD > E000026
Name USD units in E000026
Price BTI0.0167
Date 2018-04-04
ID USD E000026
Source Yahoo Currency

How do I remove this?

Your problem is not the stock but Yahoo closing down the service. See e.g. another thread on this forum. There may be some more threads providing solutions to the problem by using other quote source. Please look around for them here on the forum.

I think this may be related to currency update issues and not stock updates. Earlier this year a change to Yahoo broke my online updates. I was able to restore stock quotes using Yahoo.https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=152281 explains what I did to resolve it. However, ever since then I have two new lines when I attempt to get Online Quotes that look related to currency updates.
Code: Select all
Symbol         Name                   Price        Date       ID             Source           RESULT WHEN RUN
USD > E000001  USD units in E000001   SymbolA #    2018-05-31  USD E000001    Yahoo Currency  ERROR
USD > E000002  USD units in E000002   SymbolB #    2018-05-31  USD E000002    Yahoo Currency  ERROR
SymbolA        A's name               $            2018-05-31  E000001        Yahoo           SUCCESSFUL UPDATE
SymbolB        B's name               $            2018-05-31  E000002        Yahoo           SUCCESSFUL UPDATE

I didn't see a way of telling the currency update to use another update service; so I guess I'll either try fixing the expressions for Yahoo Currency or re-purpose this entry and point it at Google, like some other posts have suggested.
