I'm trying to set up my online account with La Banque Postale, with KmyMoneyOFX. I hope I know my login and password ; but here is the error, always :
host ofx.videoposte.com : impossible to find unknown host.
So, is there anyone who knows how to map an online account with the french bank La Banque Postale ?

Before using KmyMoney, I used Quicken that was able to download assets from the bank to itself, and then it was easy to compare and/or mark assets (sorry for my english).
Is it possible to do the same in KmyMoney, even if I have to download myself an OFX file from my bank ?

Hi,
The service to automatically connect KMyMoney (or any account management software) to La Banque Postale has been closed for years.
Nevertheless you can manually import OFX file from La Poste into KMM with the following procédure :
- Log you on La Banque Postale web site
- Select your account, then select "Télécharger le détail"
- On the window that pops up, acknowledge or change the dates to take into account, then choose OFX as the export format
- an ofx file is finally downloaded on your computer on the final Accept

Then in KMM :
- select Fichier >> Importation >> OFX ...
- choose the previously downloaded file from La Banque Postale
- the wizard helps you to select the account and import transactions into the ledger.

If the account number is set in KMM, the OFX wizard will directly propose the corresponding account.

Depending on the version of KMyMoney you are using, you should also be able to directly download the file into KMyMoney. Here's what you can do

• Start KMyMoney and open your file
• Switch to your browser
• Log you on La Banque Postale web site
• Select your account, then select "Télécharger le détail"
• On the window that pops up, acknowledge or change the dates to take into account, then choose OFX as the export format
• Upon downloading, choose to Open with KMyMoney
• the KMyMoney wizard helps you to select the account and import transactions into the ledger

BTW, the same works with CSV files too.
