Can you please tell me in what order the favorite reports are listed on the home page ?
It is not alphabetical, could be by date of creation of the reports.

And then, would you know how to change this order ?

The order is probably by order of creation (actually internal ID but that is an ascending number). As of now, it cannot be changed.

At least there is a workaround now:
- Copy each report (by opening it and then clicking new, this is keeping all the previous report settings) in the order we want them to be listed.
- Delete the original reports.

Not very flexible but that's good enough for me, I only need less than 10 favorite reports listed and don't intend to change the order every day.
