I am running KMyMoney 4.6.6 with Ubuntu 16.04 and have a checking account with 14 years of transactions. When I make an entry it takes about 20 seconds to make the update and become usable again. Is there a process for starting a new year like Quicken has? I searched the forums and found one related item that seems very cumbersome.
