since years I work with kmymoney.
Latest version is working bases on ubuntu 16.04 - together with mysql

Upgrade to kmymoney 5.0.0 based ubuntu 18.04 or 18.10 doesn't work
xubuntu 18.04 + complete kubuntu desktop and on kubuntu 18.10 I got the error access denied to database '/KMymoney' -
The database name within the open db menue is KMyMoney as well as in mysql. But why tries kmymoney during the start to open /KMyMoney (with a slash in front of the "K") ?

Is anybody working with kmymoney 5.0.* at ubuntu 18.04 using mysql ?

Did you get KMM working with MySQL and Ubuntu 18.04 please ?
