je suis un tout nouvel utilisateur KMyMoney V4.8.0 sous WIN7 KDE 4.12.5
je désirerai faire une sauvegarde en fin d'année tous les 2ans et donc purger la base de données afin de l'alléger ?
Si OUI, pouvez vous m'en indiquer la procédure; je n'ai rien trouvé dans l'aide...

The topic of an archive has been discussed many times on the mailing list. So far, we do not provide such a feature. Many of the users have multiple years of data in their files and the performance is still OK. I have 17 years with more than 7000 transactions and 18000 splits on file. I know of other users having yet more data than I do.

Thank you very much for your answer which suits me very well and reassures me as to the volume of the file.
I previously used MONEY from Microsoft and every year I ran a backup and then cleaned up the database.
Not useful with KMyMoney; well understood.
