I want to update to 5.0.2

Is there an easy way other than cmake?

I tried to install the downloaded file but it has unmet dependencies.

As I am experiencing the same issue (not being able to install KMyMoney 5.0.2 via cmake because of the unmet dependencies), I am wondering: did the suggested possibilities (Pamac or Octopi) lead to anything successful ? Or did you manage any other way ?

Well, as much as I like Kmymoney, I switched to GnuCash. I have lots of experience with double-entry, but some features of Gnu are impossible to understand the way some things are, e.g. entering (creating) the scheduled transactions.

Can you provide some details on the unmet dependencies, what you are doing and what the messages are?
